I was kind of afraid to even open the envelope. The AP Tests make everything else look like 6th grade tests. But when I finally did open the envelope, I was pleasantly surprised:
Chemistry 5 English 4 History 3
Chem, I work my butt off for, so I felt I deserved the 5, but english could have been a lot worse, and History, I think the AP Graders were feeling really generous... but hey, I'm not complaining... 8)
Yeah, yesterday was crazy. I got up bright and early to get my stuff together for the section leader meeting today. Chrissy needed a ride, so we ended up taking her and Naushin to the meeting. The meeting itself consisted of sitting around with our fellow section leaders and sorting music for Monday morning. Grace and I debated who to put on first and second parts. We finally decided to put Chris Hackett on first part to save ourselves trouble. After everything was finished, we met up with Katie Switzer (who was back in town to visit) and Andrea, Erin, Naushin, Chrissy, Doyle, Katie, and I went to Eat ‘n Park for lunch. We stayed there a long while just catching up and politicking. Afterwards, we went our respective ways and Doyle took me home. But before we went home, we stopped at suburban lanes to play some arcade games. At home, I spent my time testing new reeds and the Vandoren T25 mouthpiece along with the Eddie Daniels II ligature. The results were impressive. The feel is excellent, and the sound is just as good. Coupled with the acoustics of the Custom Z tenor, it was great. I’m ready for quartet rehearsal Monday after next. Well, it's getting kinda late so I'm going to go crash for the night.
