Okay, today was a very wierd day, or at least as my mind sees it... :? :? :?
I got up this morning after a good night's sleep (surprise surprise), got to school feeling pretty proud of myself. Then I got into AP Chem and I hit the desk like a ton of bricks. I don't really remember much of what happened the rest of the day, as I wasn't really coherent half the time, but I remember it raining, running to catch the bus, only to run into Eric, who turned me around and said the bus was waiting at the opposite end of the street ( :x ). Then there was getting home and collapsing on my bed, sleeping away an hour before my mom came and "insisted" that I do something constructive.
So I decided to practice piano. Oh, and I also say that I seriously screwed up my right arm? I don't know what happened exactly, but every muscle below my right shoulder is sore and the joints all feel like they've been dislocated, shoved back into place, and twisted once or twice for good measure. So it stands to reason that my choice turned out to be a sad mistake.
I also was kinda depressed right before and after I woke up, but that eventually disappeared and now I'm all like "heh, this is a joke, albeit it a bad one."
Okay, well, I need to get back to my English HW, so I'll come back to this later. Peace out, yo 8)
All right, it's about time I finally got with the program...
New plan to be executed:
- Go to bed earlier (I'm obviously not going to be able to change my wakeup time, so I'll have to make the best of it) - Pay attention in class (So I don't have to scrape by on every test) - Start running again (Get my musculature back online after weeks of inactivity and junk) - Start tracking expenditures (So I can finally stop saying "Hey, where'd all my money go?")
AND ABOVE ALL...
- Stay focused (It's going to be okay. And if it isn't, I'll make it that way   :D )
Lock and load, here we go...
BTW, the subject heading is an old Charles Mingus tune. Good stuff it is, DL it!
Is it just me, or are the days dragging longer and longer? Or maybe it's just the weather. It was warm and sunny before, but now it's turned back to ugly, rainy, and cold. This is downright depressing. On the same note, it's nearing the end of the 5th week since I've last seen Breanna . I think it's having a cumulative effect...
I'm trying to keep myself focused and sane, but I think that I've only succeeded in being distracted. God, I need some sunlight again! AAAAHHH!!! DAS TAGESLICHT IST KAPUTT!!!!
Don't really know what else to say... except maybe "Pray for sunshine, SOON" :?
Indeed. This is a very nice change from last week, which was just downright depressing. It's also supposed to get warmer this week so we just might be able to stop freezing to death over here. Of course, all that sunlight and spring weather won't do jack to homework or deadlines...
Last night, I went to see Anything Goes as performed by Thespian Troupe #27 (aka MHS Drama). Man, that was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. It almost topped Hamlette at One-Acts. Of course, this was something completely different because it was an actual musical :P
I've got a huge crapload of homework to do: AP Chemistry chapter HW, an essay for History, and a draft essay for English, all due Monday and Tuesday of this week :x
That being the case, I guess I'd better get started...
I've hear from a whole bunch of people that it's supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow, but even with the temperature drop, I seriously doubt if there's going to be anything other than some rain (which btw, is my LEAST favorite form of precipitation). It makes everything look so depressing... :(
But in other news, Friday was the 2nd Annual Traverser Saxophone Symposium, where I got to see all sorts of saxophonists from all over the place completely whoop me skill-wise (I must note however, that a large percentage were college students). Ah well, it was still pretty cool.
I woke up this morning and I was so freakin' sore that I could barely pull myself out of bed. Then again, running around in woods barefooted in shorts when it's 40 degrees the whole night would probably do that to you. Ask in person if you really want a detailed explanation (ie: I'm too lazy to type out a detailed account on here).
BTW, I made the MHS Wind Ensemble sax line! I get to play tenor (not exactly what I'd like, but still very nice) next year. I also made sax line for Jazz Band, but I don't know how Cotter is going to shuffle us for that. I'm also thinking about attempting to resurrect the sax quartet next year after Daniel, Aaron, and Dixi leave, but I'm not sure if the other Wind Ensemble saxes would have the dedication to do it. Ah well, it's worth a shot.
Gotta keep it rolling for good things to happen... 8)
Okay, this just in... Scheduling is commencing tomorrow during the sophomore writing assesment test (HAHA SUCKS TO BE YOU GUYS :P), and we should be able to get a hold of the people who will tell us what periods specific classes will be available so I don't have to attack my advisor to get a request put through.
Also, the initial band rosters will be released by Wednesday, so I can finally confirm if I made Wind Ensemble or not :D .
If Mr. Gibson decides to set Physics B as periods 2 and 4, then my primary schedule will work. If not, then I'll have to change programs to Physics C (Calculus-based ... ugh  ), and take a TA for the blank period that leaves me with.
Hopefully, I can get this all sorted out by the end of the week, considering the schedule papers are due in two weeks. Wish me luck!
